Marking the road makes
it safe for users. Ground marking is necessary
to make asphalt interactive and communicate with users.
Poorly maintained marking no longer plays its role. Self-respecting
marking is respected marking, hence the importance of
offering appropriate, high-performance, high-quality products.
This is why PROSIGN has developed its Lignes
de Vie contract for the public highway, Autovie
for motorways and Cité OR
for urban areas.
These contracts guarantee homogeneous
markings on the public highway and maintenance
of their performance level for several years.

To guarantee safety for everyone, PROSIGN develops and markets Ecodyn®, a system designed to determine the performance level of retroflective road markings.
PROSIGN also markets a highly efficient system called Vidéo*route® to film road markings with a digital camera and thus determine their visibility. It is used to record damaged and inappropriate road markings and help to make them more effective (no-overtaking signs depending on the road layout). PROSIGN's highway management tools also lead to better knowledge of the road network in general, so that markings can be inspected and improved in order to enhance safety.

Road markings are also needed to guide drivers and draw their attention to hazards. PROSIGN optimises road safety in wet weather through the use of extremely effective wet night, high visibility markings.
