PROSIGN is one of the French leaders in the field of road marking. |

Since it was founded in 1952, it has specialised in the design, manufacture and application of road and motorway markings.
More than 12 000 tonnes of marking products are produced each year in Prosign's ISO 9001 and ISO 14001-certified facilities and its classified installations requiring special authorisation for environmental reasons. The main products are:

PROSIGN also has a maintenance service for their upkeep and repairs.
PROSIGN has more than 80 experienced teams to apply its road marking materials.

Its markings are inspected and monitored by qualified staff using high-performance tools such as I.M.A.G.E.
Prosign also uses two Ecodyn® vehicles for continuous monitoring of retroreflective markings.

Its R&D investments and the work carried out by its laboratories and design department have made it an innovative, high-performance enterprise. For more than 50 years, PROSIGN has been committed to improving highway and motorway equipment and making the road safer for users everyday through the development of high-quality products.
In 1986, PROSIGN adopted the safety management principle advocated by DuPont de Nemours, "all accidents can be avoided, all risks can be prevented ".
Protecting the environment is one of PROSIGN's major concerns, not
only to conserve nature, but also to protect our health. PROSIGN
also shows an interest in the disposal of its products and designs
packaging to reduce the volume of its waste (Sakapo®, Plastipoche®
as well as 300 kg recyclable drums).

run jointly by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the French ministry of the environment for its water-based paint, Mac Grégor TYPHON.

Eco-label for its range of environment-friendly water-based
road marking products.

These products are recognised as being less detrimental
to the environment and public health
and safety for the people who handle them, whether
during manufacture, storage, transport
or application.

In 2006, PROSIGN launched a new line of eco-designed hot surface dressings,
composed of pine resins, vegetable oils and oyster shells, Ostrea®
Spray and Ostrea® Route. These products have reaped scores of press
coverage and a number of awards, including the Prix des Entreprises in
the Essonne Department during sustainable development week (June 2 2006)
and the Pierre Potier Medal for innovation in chemistry in favor of the
environment (June 29, 2006). Thanks to a system of heat-fusible bags, they
do not create any packing waste. In addition, these products enable 20 to
30% savings in heating energy.
The entire range is double certified by French standards NF-road equipment
and NF environmentally-friendly road marking.
In 2007, for the fifth time in a row, PROSIGN participated in the Essonne
Department’s sustainable development week with the backing of the Chamber
of Commerce. Press conference with the DRIRE ILE –de-FRANCE (Paris Area’s
Regional Division for Industry, Research and Environment) and BIO Intelligence
Service. Open house at the Bretigny plant.
